Confluence Kodiak
FAQs

Q: What’s the difference between the Charter Circle and the Weaving Circle?
The Charter Circle is the in-person gathering in Kodiak, Sept. 23–25, where a smaller group of leaders will spark the 10-Year Regenerative Outdoors Vision. The Weaving Circle is the online statewide series that follows, with 8 sessions from October 2025 through June 2026. Charter Circle participants are automatically enrolled in the Weaving Circle, while others may register directly to join the online process.

Q: What do I get as part of the Weaving Circle?
Weaving Circle participants will access select lightning talks and recordings from Confluence, join 8 statewide online sessions (covering stewardship, health, economy, culture, infrastructure, active transportation, funding, and climate), be invited to the final Synthesis & Weaving Session, and be recognized as contributors in the 10-Year Vision Report.

Q: Will my name or organization be recognized?
Yes. Both First Circle and Weaving Circle participants will be acknowledged in the final Confluence Vision Report as contributors to Alaska’s 10-Year Regenerative Outdoors Plan.

👉 These FAQs will make your pricing and participation options crystal clear without sounding transactional.

Will there be recordings?
Yes. All lightning talks and online sessions will be recorded. Early registrants get access first.

What happens after the online series?
The Charter, Weaving circles and/or theme leaders will convene in Fall 2026 for an Implementation Design Lab, turning the vision into an action roadmap.

Why does the online series cost $299?
Your registration supports facilitation, organization, recording, and synthesis of 9+ months of statewide sessions, culminating in the Vision Report. It’s an investment in shaping Alaska’s outdoor future.

Why register before Sept. 23?
Early registrants save $50, gain early access to Kodiak lightning talk recordings, and are recognized as part of the Charter Weaving Circle—the first cohort of online contributors acknowledged in the Vision Report.
